How to Get Rid of Eye Bags

You are likely one of the following: you are going on a date with the man of your dreams, you need to be at the interview with your prospective employer, you will be reporting in class or you are going to walk down the aisle wearing your dream wedding gown in a few hours. Eye bags start forming under your eyes on times when you need to look your best. Then again, you find it hard to avoid it since events like these make you so excited you can't sleep!
Looking tired on your special day is not a good idea at all. Can you imagine how you're going to appear in videos and pictures, or in front of the people you need to impress? Eye bags are caused by a number of things, including bending your head for too long a time during the previous day, normal aging process resulting in saggy skin, health problems like Grave's disease or thyroid conditions, hormonal issues, allergies, and the most common of all, staying up too late at night.
Looking good by getting rid of eye bags is one of the many things you should first do if you want to make your big day an extra-special one. Below are some tips you can follow to get rid of eye bags:
Say Goodbye to Eye Bags
Don't stress! If you are too tired from a day's work, watched too much TV or spent too many hours in from of a computer, you will surely get eye bags. Stress and insomnia cause eye bags, too. A miraculous cure would be a good long nap. If this does not work, then use some eye applications. Eye Masks are used by many and are known to be effective, especially the ones made of fresh cucumber slices. You can also put on moist cold tea bags on top of your eyes while sleeping to relax your eyes. Over and above all these, try changing your lifestyle to completely get rid of your eye bags. Practice some meditation or relaxation techniques and get more sleep than you usually do.A Few Reminders
Be reminded that double checking the type of tea bag you use is highly important. Make sure that you are not allergic to the type of teabag you are going to use because your eyes may swell even more if you are allergic to, say, a chamomile teabag. When using cosmetic products, exercise caution all the time. Discontinue use if the condition becomes worse.
Applying cold water or ice directly to your eyes' skin is fine, but do this only for a few seconds. Applying it too long will only worsen the condition. Invasive or expensive treatments can deceive you, so consult your physician before using them. After all, the first step to knowing what method is most effective for you is knowing the root cause of the problem, which you can learn only from your physician.
Everything is easy to remember. If you lack sleep, then take long naps. If you are stressed, find time to relax, read a good book, watch funny movies or go on a nature trip with your friends. If you lack vitamins, take some vitamin supplements and make sure you take them correctly. All these go to show that if you know the root of your eye bag problem, you certainly know how to get rid of it, too.
Now, don't worry about looking ugly or tired on your special day. You can look beautiful in front of your man, or appear already impressive in front of your employer, if you follow the tips listed above. Remember, if you are serious about getting rid of your eye bags, then follow every tip the right way. Totaly agree i know i have my bags (15 yr old) because i itch my eyes alot and roughly and because i stay up till like 4 – 6 am and sleep all day… Im not that healthy but my grandma did say if you quit touching your eyes and use a warm towlette and then a cold towlette on your bags they would go away. So give that a try and @marx robind D you’re stupid the more you toucj your eyes it pulls and tears the skin and its very delicate and fragile at the eyes so that causes bags idiot.
I Agree.

I’m only 14, and i have HORRIBLE bags under my eyes all the time, 24/7, and 365 days a year. I know it’s not lack of sleep that causes the bags, because i get plenty of sleep, though not too much. It’s not hereditary becuz neither my mom/dad or grandma/grandpa has them. It’s not my period, and its not allergies either. it also can’t be lack of vitamins or whatever, because i take multiple vitamin pills daily (my mom insists lol) what else could cause the bags, and how can i get rid of them? i’ve tried that hydrollize product thing that supposedly cures the bags, but it didn’t work at all. (and it wasted a bunch of my money). my friends make fun of the marks under my eyes all the time, and i’d like to get rid of them!, so please email me any tips/tricks that might help please!!! I have always used cold tea spoons for my eye bags in the morning but they never seem to go away, yet i have watched people on shows talk about how effective they are!
I actually had bags under my eyes that no matter what remedies I tried they would not go away. I had purchased numerous types of creams and the pens that have a roller on them to get rid of bags to no avail. I also went to Dr after Dr to try to find out why they were so bad, finally I found a Dr that actually told me she thought they were from an allergy so she made me an appointment with an allergist in my town. I figured it was a food or seasonal type allergy but it was actually an allergy to cigarette smoke that was causing these bags under my eyes. I had been a smoker for over 25 years and never put 2 and 2 together. Of course it took me quite a while to quit, but I finally did cold turkey, and I couldn’t believe it within a week the bags under my eyes were gone….. I am not preaching about quitting smoking I am just saying that the smoke may be the reason. You really need to get allergy tested to find out if this or a food or something else is the cause…. Best of luck…
just press your eye hard and it well work
i think i have got eye bags because of using spectacles continuously for last 4 yrs.my other friends who wear specs also have swollen eyes.now i have started using contact lens and now i want to get rid of. kindly help me.
This article is not very helpfull if you need to get rid of the eye bags you already have right away. If it was my “big day” and I had eye bags, none of the information would help me to get rid of them. It is only preventative info.
