Now I just use the simple round-headed nose-hair scissors which works perfectly. But like this article said, don't trim too much, just the portion sticking out is enough. Frequent trimming is annoying but I have trimmed them almost to their root once, felt fresh at first, but when I went to work - at a bookstore, the dust just killed me that day, runny nose whole day !! I absolutely have to pluck those bad boys; trimming doesn't cut it, it seems like they grow several centimeters a day. But when I do pluck them, I swear it feels like they're connected to the bottom of my brain, and when it's out, I'm amazed at how long it actually is -- like it grew out of my sinus cavity!
