I have suffered with cluster headaches since I was 17. I’m now 24 and although they still debilitate me on occassion, I have found several ways to manage them. In addition to taking my doctor prescribed Sumatriptan at the onset of a headache, I take fish oil, exorcise, hydrate (drink water), avoid bad foods, (sugar, preserved meat, aged cheese, also cheap beer seems to set mine right off) try and get regular sleep…etc..All of this you probably know by now if you’re afflicted with this pain. Here’s something I figured out on my own though which has been a great help to me. It came to me when I heard this Robin Williams stand up routine where he says; “God gave man a penis and a brain. But not enough blood to use both at the same time.” That got me thinking. (I am honest to God serious about this please don’t remove this because it may help people) Is it possible to orgasm your way out of a headache? YES, it most certainly is. Not all the way out of the headache but you will notice your pain diminishing almost right away. I’m no doctor, but I figure if you can direct enough blood away from your brain and release a burst of endorphins you can almost kill the headache. So if you can manage to do it through the pain I’m telling you first hand. It works. I hope this helps.

I had them for 3 years at twice a year periods for two nonths at a time. They lasted for 30 to 35 minutes about 4 times a day. They will always wake you up.A doctor gave me an anti-depresant called paxil. they were gone in one day. I took the whole month supply and I have been cluster free for two years. Hope this helps somebody.

Hi i also suffered from clustered headaches for 6 weeks, and that was long enough, i went to see an oestopath, an after 2 visits they went. hope this may be of some help to any suffers.

My husband has had cluster headaches for 20 years,we have tried many medications,DHE treatments,Demerol shots,headache conventions,messaging,and also oxygen which helps him alittle more then the others. He is doing Botox shots every 3 months now and he is really getting much more comfort then he’s ever had, I can honestly swear by it. He’s finally enjoying doing things and getting out more.

I just wish it were as simple as you make it sound. My father suffers with cluster headaches and as Daddy’s little girl, I got the migraines at age 8. Mine disappeared with puberty. My fathers however, have not. He has tried everything you talk about on a regular basis. He has consulted many MD’s, Neuologist, Surgeons and takes medication for migraines to ward off the head ache problem is you have to catch it in 45 seconds to 90 seconds or it doesn’t work, he is also on oxygen. If any new information comes about please contact me by email. My father is suffering so, I want to help, I took care of him when my mother left for 5 years, held his head while he was throwing up, getting cold wet compresses, closing blinds and curtains so it would be dark. The worst for him he says is giving up caffiene. He also loves cheeses, aged cheese. When the headaches occur he is blindly ill. I love him so much. Thank you for your time.

Hello I have been getting bad temple pains in my left temple and it comes every day at 11 am. My eyes get tiered and it really herts and when I take tylonal it goes away right away but I feel I am taking to much and it’s not good I get them every single day for about 3 weeks now if someone could tell me what it is or why it is happening to me I would really appreciate it please help please
