I went to dr and im told i have shingles inside my mouth, all along my lips, they hurt so bad, takin antibotics an gave me magic wash to rinse wth. no releif. help somebody, im in so much pain.

Developed some sympthoms 5 weeks ago, most lesions dried up except one on the side of my head. But major problem is that my left eye waters all the time and I am going nuts and cannot work.

Im 24 and am goin through my 1st and hopefully last bout of shingles. I was extremely painful for the first 2 weeks and now its extremely itchy and just plain gross looking. They gave me percocet and thats it cuz they said it was already to far along by the time i got it checked at the ER. There was a 2 day period where i did have bad flu like symptoms like fever and puking and body aches but thats gone now. My best advice is sleep and pain meds and just let it ride out

I have had shingles for about 8 days now. i though at fis it was just a rash then i went from the out side of my right breast to my inner are and my arm pit.. no its on my upper back.. my doctor said that they where amazed that i wasnt in pain but they said i might start to feel like a burning pain.. the proscribed me vicodin and and antibiotic.. but i have been wearing normal shirt with sleves and buting cold wet rages on on back and under arm when i become itchy.. i also have washed with cetifil twice a day and it seem to b helping.. hope thats helps to some amount

Hi im 11 and i just have 1 thing to say if you get shingles it is gonna sting and itch so bad but do not scratch it because it will make it even worse cause thats what happened to me!But I was just wondering how I can prevent it from coming back?

OK, Well I have Herpes II but I get shingles due to my immune system once a year every year for the past 3 yrs in a row. The rashes continue on growing in different places though. Last two years I got it in my arms, this year I had it in one leg last week then it grew by the end of the week, now I have it really big in both legs not only that but I am starting to see a little in my arms and underarms. I need to stop the itch, swear is about to drive me nuts.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

Hello, I am 11 and i have had shingles for about 7 days, i have been taking itch relief cream and some medicine but it seems to not be working, its starting to give me really bad stress, Itchyness and that the rashes are getting bigger and redder, has anyone got any tips? as i would really apriciate it ! I have shingles on one side of my head..on my face and my one eye is swollen shut and very sore..I am on two different antibiotics..how long should this last before I get relief ..
