Hi, so I just read this with my sister; we went into the kitchen and made a tomato-mustard-vinager-milk paste and spread it on my sunburnt back...its really refreshing lol and eases the pain... I hope it works well!

I live in florida. On the beach. I try to tan everyday, but I get sunburnt often. These tips are what help me through the pain and redness:):
1)For sunburnt face: Pour a cold glass of milk, and get a couple of paper towels. Tear the paper towels, and soak them in the milk. When you do this, think of paper mache. Once the paper towel pieces are soaked in milk, tilt your face and layer them on the sunburnt areas. Remember when you were little and would eat something spicy, and your mom would say "Drink some milk!" The same thing happens here; milk takes the burn away.:)
2) Whole body: Do not exfoliate your skin UNTIL you start to peel. If you exfoliate, it speeds up peeling; which we are trying to avoid. Take an empty spray bottle, and fill it up with apple cider or white vinegar. spray it all over burnt areas. Let it sit for at least 5 minutes, then take a cold shower. When you get out, blot yourself with the towel, don't rub. Apply aloe vera (Helps ease pain) and Cocoa butter or a lotion containing it (Helps turn into a tan). Apply them every hour.
3) Wear very loose fitted clothing, and make sure its a little softer than T-shirt material. You dont want it to hurt if it rubs against your skin.
4) Take a nap. You body will speed up the healing while you are asleep.

That's what I do when I'm sunburnt! I hope this helps you turn your burn into a beautiful tan:)!

Put full fat plain yogurt on your sunburn and let it stay there as long as you want. it takes away all the stinging and reddness!

I went on vacation to Florida, and luckily only got a little burnt on my cheecks. It looks like I'm blushing, which is fine. But my skin feels dry and rough! And it's also a little itchy. Help me get back my baby-soft skin! :o

For the pain- washcloth soaked in milk or cold water. Cold compresses, or aloe Vera gel/cream/lotion
For the redness- run an ice cube over your skin or frozen food.
Just drink lots and lots of water, cold showers, lots of lotion and aloe.
