Chinese algae eaters are a bad choice for taking care of algae in a fish tank. They can grow to be quite large (6"+) and can be quite aggressive towards other fish in your tank. I would suggest either an otocinclus, nerite snails, amano shrimp, an american flagfish, or a true siamese algae eater (not a flying fox, they are completely different fish, though often sold as the same thing).

Comment !
In the article "How to get rid of Algae" you mention using "sulphate monohydrate". There's several types of "sulphate monohydrate"; copper manganese zinc etc. Which one specifically are recommending?
Specifics can surley make a difference - generalities leave too much room for error, damage, waste of time, effort and money.
Most folks like to "Git'er done" right the first time!
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks
