Why not donate your junk to charitable institutions, especially to those who are organizing a garage sale? You are not just cleaning your old home, you are also helping other people.

In the United States, popular charitable institutions like St. Vincent de Paul, the Salvation Army and Goodwill accept donations. Sometimes, they can even send people to your house to pick up the junk that you donate.
