I've been doing this for years and it really works. I've seen it suggested on other sites that you can mix a little into your pet's wet food for the same effect but I haven't tried it. I'm kind of cautious when it comes to what I feed my kitty without a vet's advice. If you have a carpet cleaner, a simple mix of water and Borax powder can be used to clean your carpets and will kill the fleas instantly. Don't use the powder without water. In fact I would rather it be a mosquito bite. I am right on top of it with the frontline plus. But baking soda on things also keeps them away, but does not eliminate them like frontline.
